The purchase of the BigPa was motivated by my efforts to improve my capture of my son's lacrosse activities. But to get a few first-day-with-the-lens test shots I had to roam around the neighborhood and shoot whatever might test the lens' capabilities. Brick walled apartments and office buildings not in sight, but there are residential building shots and flora and fauna shots. All handheld at f2.8. Some very short focus and some long focus. Some at "300mm" and others shorter. Shutter speeds generally pretty high ( >1/1000) and focus generally AF-S but a great number were AF-C (!??). ISO 400 to keep handheld speeds up. Large Fine jpegs. Internal sharpening 0 = Normal. No USM in post processing ( just Curves/Auto Color... some manual color).
